Remember December (being peak season) comes around faster than we know it and the early birds are the ones that  catch the worm or better still, have the pick of the crop (so to say)- so if by February you are already planning a break for the December hols just go right ahead and book now! Then of course there's also Easter (April-mid season) which is another popular holiday that needs no last minute decision - so please just go right ahead and book early to avoid that ever looming disappointment!  There's no time like NOW!

Herewith some very basic guidelines of the areas you might like to visit, or  book for your next South Coast Holiday - it really is worth considering - you certainly won't be disappointed!

Southbroom:
Imagine 5 kilometers of seafront!  Perfect beaches, ideal for surfing, swimming – touch rugby or volleyball for the sports enthusiasts.   The locals are friendly and everything one needs is available in the village.   Southbroom Golf  Course is one of the top 10 in the country.

Trafalgar:
The Trafalgar Marine Reserve is a tiny area extending for about 6km along the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast and 500metres offshore and is situate about 8 kms south of Margate. The area incorporates the Mpenjati Nature Reserve of approximately 190 hectares whose mission is to preserve, in perpetuity, the natural environment of forest types, dune vegetation and grasslands (including wet grassland) for the benefit of the animals, birds and other creatures occuring there.

 Palm Beach:
Not only has one of the most beautiful beaches on the coast with it own natural tidal pool and estuary that offers some wonderful swimming and windsurfing opportunities and attracts local fisherman, but it also borders the Mpenjati Nature Reserve, which means an incredible bird life is attracted to the area, and little development has been allowed to spoil the neighbourhood.

Munster:
A charming small resort with many interesting things to offer.  Shells on the beach, a shipwreck, excellent fishing, whale-watching and time to relax and unwind.  Munster has many beautiful holiday homes for city folk who want to “get away from it all”.

Glenmore Beach: 
Is one of four resort areas on the lower South Coast.  Glenmore Beach is a stretch of beautiful pristine beach, with shark-protected water to encourage swimming and surfing, very popular with both residents and tourists.  Ski-boats are launched from the mouth of the Itongasi River and there are many great fishing spots near by.

 Leisure Bay:
Here one can enjoy the best of both worlds – the sun, sea and superb beaches and for nature-lovers, the lush vegetation hides buck, otters, monkeys and bird species.  Enthusiastic walkers can walk from Leisure Bay to Glenmore Beach, along the beach pathways.  For an evening of fun and excitement, the Wild Coast Casino is only a 10-minute drive away.
